So Serena, they are really making a movie from your book? Hope they don’t change the story too much. Happens too much. Congratulations. Any idea when it will be finished?

Yep! My book really is being turned into a movie! I’ve read the script, and where they do take a few liberties with some of the scenes (like combining some of the scenes together, or changing little bits here and there) a majority of the scenes and dialogue have been left the same. I’ve been very impressed with how close it is, including the actors/actresses, to what I had imagined as my characters and scenes in the book!

That’s my husband in the second to last shot, preparing to throw the stone! He and my son Trenton (“Bobby’s” body double and various other parts) had so much fun filming. Can’t wait to see it.
